The Brand NEW 7.4 mile family ride will start at Central Church of Christ at 45 Main Street and continue out hwy 84 turning Left onto Ray Broyles Rd right on Charles Hennessee and then a right on Roy Null rd and back to Hwy 84. This was one of the last routes Aaron and I rode when I was starting to ride. It has a few good risers but is well within a beginner’s capability. There will be a wheel truck following in case anyone needs help or a ride. Children 17 and younger will need a guardian accompanying them.

We will follow the Juvenile race course down Hwy 84 for 5 miles turning left onto Cherry Creek Rd. after a little stinger, we turn right onto Plum Creek. Another big stinger and a fun little screamer and we pop out on 84 heading back into town. Here the course will change as we make a left on to Frank Sims rd. and then right onto Blue Springs. We will make our way back onto hwy 84 with less than 2 miles from town.

Very scenic, moderate difficulty, suitable for children, low traffic conditions.

The same route as the Road Race but we make a hard right onto Blues Springs road within the first 2 miles. Blue Springs turns into Mack Floyd rd and takes us back to Hwy 84 after 10 miles. Then it’s a left on Mill Creek for a Maulin but stop at the Mill Creek Baptist Church for a snack and a drink, then enjoy the 2 mile decent at 5% grade. Take a left onto Cherry Creek Rd. and then a Right on Hwy 84 and back into town. Stop at the Church of Christ Parking lot for more refreshments and brag about your effort.

A Cat 5 Hill and several stingers and rollers make this a nice work out.

After the 40 miler, we will continue with the pack for 10 more miles down South Young Street/Hickory Valley Road until branching off to the right onto River Hill Road. A nice little stinger and a downhill payback and we will make a left back onto Hickory Valley and take it into town.

After completing the 40 mile Mauler, will get a snack and head onto the lower 60 miler that takes us through Van Buren County and down to Rock Island. There will be some trying stingers on Joppa rd. but the overall ride is one of unique variety and topography.
